Stroll in Fremont, Washington

We all met at The Red Door for a great brunch. Shared our equipment, experiences and knowledge. It's a spider, no a suction cup in strings, no....actually, it's a chandelier. I sat on the floor underneath and caught this photo.Watch Your Step! These ones are really steep. I liked the effect of the steps, though.Along the walk at the river inlet. What an interesting pattern for these steps. Caught my eye for sure. A few of the photographers are using them to stage themselves at different heights to capture the great Seattle surroundings

Chris shows off his high tech lens protector. He describes how it took him so long to acquire this vintage version of white fabric that caresses his lenses while being concealed within. It was also found that in order for it to work properly, he had to wear this particular lens protector on one of his feet for several months. Of course, he washed it in between uses....right, Chris?I think we need to add just a few more pieces of equipment to this camera. Not sure if there is enough there...LOL Here, a macro lens is being used to capture the ice inside of a soda. A couple of flashes are attached to the lens to create the perfect lighting.Coffee anyone? Just wanted to see how close I could get to the inside of the cup of coffee I was drinking. Here, I was about 4 inches from the inside. I used my Canon EOS Digital Rebel. I love this camera

Pretty little flowers hanging down.Bridge opens for the BULLY! Had to open for just his mast heightHungry? Looks like soggy onions, right? Actualy, I think it is the base of bamboo shootsSmall berries on a plant. Wonder if they're edible?

Cool looking wallpaper. They used labels from all kinds of beer to create this border print. Would make a great background for some photoTilt effect while going down the stairs. Hang on everyone!!A little moss in water never made a bad photo

Some more purple berriesRed berries. I'm almost sure these ones are not edibleLooking up a brick wall on a buildingThe man and his equipment. I must drewl for a moment, please....Thank you.

The rocket has landed.Lenin statue from MoscowPurple ball inside a crack of the statue. Made a great effectLook, Lenin is holding a basketball!

Drainage grate. Held at the right angle, it makes a great effect.Multiple exposure? Nope, just a reflection of buildings behind me while photographing the insides of the vegetable area of the corner store.Purple cabbage. I liked the way it looked among the miniature pansies.

Bricks along our walkWhat a cool mosaic patternWater drops on a metal table. Can't pass anything up.Have a seat, any seat. Go ahead, you can take a break here.

A bunch of us photographers standing around admiring the Lenin statueMy flash agains the water droplets made for a cool rounded effect. Almost looks like the moon.Same photo without the flash. Still looks pretty cool

Still tired? Okay, so this is a repeat. Just wanted to see if you were paying attention. An Ebay item? Probably. The rider went in for a great cup of Seattle's Best.Wow! Now that's a lot of staples!Image under the bridge. I loved the look of how it framed in my viewfinder.

Water and reflections. Some of my favoritesThis was an interesting find. The inside spoke of a bicycleA staple food with fiber?

Only the shadow knows!I liked the setup in front of a local shopYou musn't walk by anything when you have a camera in hand. Capture what you can, even an open sign reflecting in a puddle. You're not going to take a bucket are you?

Peek-a-boo! What a cool shot.A peek at a Seattle Harbor from under the bridgeKnow what this is? It's a ladder on the side of a fire engine.

Cool metal works on a building in FremontOkay, so fire hydrants make good photos also.

And finally, waiting for a bus to arrive. These people have been waiting since the stone age.
